My name is Arianne, and I’m reaching out on behalf of someone very dear to me — a strong, loving mother who is in the fight of her life to be reunited with her two young children. Thanks for being here. Due to the nature of this story, I will be leaving details out to protect those involved in this case.
A few years ago, life took a devastating turn. After enduring years of domestic abuse and manipulation at the hands of her children's father — a man with several domestic assault convictions, felonies and substance abuse convictions and a dangerous history of violence — she fell into addiction and eventually lost custody of her children. This was her rock bottom. But it was also the beginning of her transformation. God rescued her from near death, and it is only by His grace that she is alive today!
By the grace of God, she found her way out. She has been clean for over three years. She’s active in AA, engaged in community support systems, has followed every court order, and has worked relentlessly to rebuild her life from the ground up. She is a different person — healthy, sober, faithful, and deeply committed to being the mother her children need. She is a LIVING testimony of what it means to be saved, to have changed. PRAISE GOD!
Yet despite her progress, the children remain in the custody of their father — a man who has continued to disregard court orders, who has multiple child protection reports filed against his care for the children, and who, along with his girlfriend and her family, is providing an unstable and unsafe home. It’s heartbreaking. If you could hear the severity of the situation at hand, your heart would not know how it’s possible that these children are still with their father. The system has failed this mother and these kids. While the father has the financial resources to fight in court, she doesn’t. She is currently working and is putting every penny towards her attorney fees, but it simply isn’t enough with all the additional costs at play in this case.
We are raising $25,000 to cover the legal fees required to continue this custody battle — to give her a fair chance to bring her children home where they are truly safe and loved. Every dollar will go directly toward attorney fees and legal support to ensure her voice is heard and her rights — and the rights of her children — are protected.
She’s come so far, but she can’t do this alone. If you believe in second chances, in the strength of a mother’s love, and in justice for these children, please consider donating or sharing this page. Your support could be the difference between heartbreak and healing. These children deserve to know and experience the tremendous love their mom, and the rest of their family, have for them. The next hearing is in early June.
Thank you for standing with her.
