Help reunite Dakx with his Mom & brothers.

Hi, my name is Carmen Gephart, I am sharing a bit about one of my close friends who over the past 3 years I have gotten to know. I have had to witness a serious injustice take place. As a mother myself I can not fathom the pain. I personally have witnessed her relationship with her sons and know the person I am speaking on behalf of is so deserving. Kerri and her boys share so much love and laughter when they are together and it is time we bring Dakx home where he needs to be!

Here is a deeper dive into what Kerri has been through and why we are now asking for your help. Putting this out there really makes you swallow your pride but raising 2 teenage boys as a single mom and fighting to get your other child back is something that continually financially drains her. There is no price that a mother isn’t willing to pay. So with a heavy heart, we are urgently seeking understanding, prayers and help financially for Kerri, and her three sons, Kaden, Landen, and Dakx, during this incredibly trying time. Over the past eight years, they've faced unimaginable mistreatment within a deeply flawed legal system, navigating nearly 40 court hearings.

Following each court decision, the children's father repeatedly filed for full custody, often within an unreasonably short span. His actions following Kerri's motion for proper jurisdiction in Ohio in 2020 were particularly distressing.

The situation worsened during a 2021 summer visit to their father in Georgia, where he filed an emergency motion for custody modification, resulting in the boys being ordered to live with him temporarily. After 6 months Kaden adamantly expressed regret and he was able to come back to Ohio that December.

This distressing situation has led to a denial of Kerri's lawful parental visitation rights for over 24 months. Multiple distressing incidents ensued during her visits to Georgia, where the father unlawfully withheld the boys, requiring police intervention on several occasions.

If you know Kerri personally, she is a relentless fighter. In June of 2023 she was able to get a hearing and this is when her middle son Landen desperately pleaded to come back to Ohio whereas he expressed “severe manipulation” Dakx was shockingly ordered to remain with his dad and attend immediate therapy as he now is experiencing trauma towards Kerri and his entire maternal family. Kerri has been denied visitation for 24 months and hasn’t spoken to Dakx in nearly a year.

Despite pursuing legal recourse, achieving an evidentiary hearing has been an uphill battle, and Kerri and her children have endured severe emotional distress due to their forced alienation.

As they approach another court hearing on January 22, Kerri desperately seeks assistance in finding an expert witness to support Dakx. She has invested thousands of hours and dollars trying to fight for her children. Your involvement in shedding light on this grave injustice and the post-separation abuse they've faced would mean the world to Kerri and her children.
