Our family is asking for your help to bring our 2-year-old great-grandson, Awen Cain, back home. Awen is a happy, loving, and curious little boy who has already faced incredible challenges in his short life, including a 29-day stay in the NICU. He has worked hard at his developmental milestones with the support of physical and speech therapists, and he brings so much joy to our lives.

Since early June 2025, Awen has been separated from his family due to a complicated and unexpected legal situation during a short visit to Louisiana. What was supposed to be an 8-day trip turned into months of uncertainty, missed therapy sessions, and emotional hardship for both Awen and his family.

My granddaughter, Allie, and her son were stranded far from home, navigating legal battles and court appearances with limited resources. They have spent weeks away from home, living in a motel, fighting to reunite with Awen, and trying to secure the legal help they need. We are now facing costs for lawyers, court fees, and travel to ensure Allie and Awen can be safely back together.
