Help Reunite a Family: Support the Move to Phoenix
Donation protected
I lost my job the end of 2023. I spent 7 months and all of my money job hunting in Arizona unsuccessfully. I branched out my job search and landed a job on the East Coast but have been trying to get back to Arizona for the past year. I was trying to coordinate a transfer or job acquisition with my lease renewal date, which is no easy feat. I have landed an opportunity to transfer within the company that I currently work for to Phoenix, but there is a financial challenge. My lease renewal date was a month ago. The timing is off by a month, and the leasing agency is playing hard ball with me. In order for me to break my lease agreement I must pay 2 additional payments on top of my last month's rent in order to do a buyout. This is an additional $3000 that I must add to an approximate $2000 needed to make the move back to Arizona. I must also have enough funds available to pay for a deposit on a new apartment in Phoenix when I get there. After being unemployed for as long as I was and only working steady for one year, I do not have sufficient funding to make this happen. If I cannot come up with the funding I am stuck for another year or longer to get the stars to align for me. I have no family or friends here. I am all alone and my family needs me. My kids deserve my presence. I have been battling for the past 2 years to love and support them but all they have seen and felt is absence and abandonment. I am unhappy and alone here. I miss my family, and I could use a tender mercy. I hate asking for support or help. I am stubborn and prideful and when I can manage on my own, I do my best to be self-sufficient. I may not get an opportunity like this company transfer offer in the future and the clock is ticking I only have a narrow window that they will accept me in. Please if you could show me and my family mercy, I, we could use it right now. Thank you in advance for everything you have ever done and are willing to do.
