Hello, I am helping a friend to raise money for legal expenses to reunite her with her 6-year-old son. My friend is a single mom of three, a former refugee from a war-torn country, who lived through years of hardship until she was able to find safety in the United States — only to experience domestic violence. She is a survivor and a warrior, and was able to get a divorce and give herself and her kids a safe and nurturing home. She works incredibly hard providing for her family with no child support, while putting herself and her oldest daughter through school for a better future.

Tragically, the family has just been thrust into another legal battle and her youngest boy, a 6-year-old, was wrongfully taken away.

To fight this, we have managed to secure legal representation, which comes at a huge price, with $10,000 needed right away to retain them.

My friend is the most devoted mom who will stop at nothing for her children. But the financial burden of the legal expenses is simply beyond her reach without help.
