For years, I’ve worked at a restaurant where I’ve gotten to know an incredible older man who regularly picks up DoorDash orders. He’s over 80 years old and still works tirelessly every day, not just for himself but to care for his blind wife at home. Watching his dedication and kindness has inspired me deeply, and I’ve always admired his strength and resilience. I’ve known him for a long time, and it’s clear that he deserves a chance to rest and enjoy his later years without the constant worry of making ends meet. That’s why I’m starting this fundraiser—to help him retire and provide some comfort and security for both him and his wife. The money raised will go towards any expenses they have, including medical and housing needs, so they can focus on their well-being instead of financial stress.
