Help Restore the Palisades Recreation Center
Donation protected
The Palisades Recreation Center has long been the vibrant heart of Pacific Palisades—a place where families come together to connect, play, and grow. From basketball tournaments and ballet classes to tennis, pickleball, bocce and baseball games, it has been a hub of energy, laughter, and togetherness.
Tragically, the Palisades Fire on January 7, 2025, destroyed the rec center, including the basketball facility and several other key buildings in Palisades Park. This cherished space, located in the heart of Pacific Palisades, was more than just a recreation center—it was a gathering place that embodied the spirit of our community. Now, it needs our help to rise from the ashes. Every dollar raised will go toward rebuilding these vital facilities, restoring not just a physical space, but the soul of our community.
My name is Grace Jameson, a proud Palisadian who grew up just down the street from the park. My family and I experienced the heartbreak of this tragedy firsthand—my parents lost their home in the fire, and my beloved elementary school across the street, Corpus Christi, also burned down. I vividly remember walking to the park for PE classes and to play sports with my friends.
Today, I work for a cybersecurity company based in El Segundo, and when my CEO called to ask how he could help, the first thing that came to mind was rebuilding the Palisades Rec Center. This is more than a project; it’s the first step toward bringing our community back together.
I urge LA-based companies to join us in kickstarting the rebuild of this beloved community staple. Together, we can restore the heart of Pacific Palisades and create a brighter future for generations to come.
