My name is Richard Talbot with Black Diamond Painting and we are currently doing work at Talbot House in Frenchvale; a rehabilitation and recovery centre for men fighting addiction.

This cause is very close to our hearts. Like many families, we have personally seen how addiction impacts people and the struggle that comes with trying to rebuild your life. Everyone deserves a safe, comfortable, and welcoming place to heal.

We’ve been donating a lot of our own time, labour, and resources into helping transform this space and make it feel more like a home and less like a place people feel forgotten. The difference the fresh paint has already made is incredible.

However, the floors throughout the building are in very rough condition, and unfortunately, as a non-profit organization, Talbot House simply does not have the funding to replace them right now.

That’s why we’re reaching out to the community for help.

We are hoping to raise enough money to have new flooring installed to truly complete the transformation and create a space where these men feel comfortable, supported, and proud to stay while working toward recovery.

If there are any flooring companies, contractors, suppliers, or community members willing to donate materials, labour, services, or any monetary contribution at all, it would mean more than you know.

Every single donation, will go directly towards improving this rehabilitation centre and helping the men who rely on it.
