On October 9th at 4:30 pm, our family’s world changed when a fire swept through our home, starting on the first floor and reaching all the way to the attic. We are a family of seven, including our two beloved cats, Cleo and Leia. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but one of our cats was trapped in the smoke and couldn’t be rescued until the fire was out. The aftermath has left our home flooded, the roof missing, and entire rooms destroyed. We lost not only valuables and sentimental possessions, but also the essentials we rely on every day—clothes, hygiene products, electronics, and food and bedding for our cats.

Right now, we have temporary housing, but we’re facing the challenge of replacing daily necessities and preparing for the upcoming winter. We’re seeking support to help cover essentials like meals, clothing, electronics, transportation, and housing for the next few months. In the long term, we hope to restore and refurnish our home and rebuild the spaces that have meant so much to us.

Our home is more than just a building—it’s where our family has made some of our best memories. My parents worked hard to make it a true home, and it’s my mother’s greatest pride. We fell in love with it the moment we saw it, and it’s been the heart of our family ever since. Our youngest sibling grew up here, and our cats flourished in its warmth. This home has been the setting of countless celebrations and important milestones.

Our family is still in shock, but we are deeply grateful for the prayers, kindness, and support from our community as we work to get back on our feet. Thank you for helping us rebuild and return to the place that means everything to us.
