Help Restore What Was Stolen From Our Church

Today we were faced with heartbreaking news. When one of our members came in to continue working on the remodel of our little church here in Forest Grove, Oregon, we discovered that the building had been broken into overnight.

Our hearts sank as we realized nearly everything had been taken. Our music instruments, microphones, speakers, mixer, and sound equipment were stolen. Even the tools being used for the remodel were gone. Our church was almost completely wiped out.

We are a small community of faith. Worship is at the heart of what we do, and the loss of these instruments and equipment is devastating. Over the past year, we’ve already poured so much into remodeling our church home, sacrificing time, resources, and energy and now we’re faced with this painful setback.

It is hard to put into words the sadness we feel, but we know God is faithful and that He works even through trials like this. We also know that we are not alone, and that our community, near and far, may want to help us rebuild.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help replace the stolen items so that we can continue gathering, worshiping, and serving as a light in Forest Grove. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward replacing the equipment and tools that were taken and ensuring that our doors remain open to all who walk in.

Ayúdanos a Restaurar lo que fue Robado de Nuestra Iglesia

Hoy recibimos una noticia desgarradora. Cuando uno de nuestros miembros llegó para continuar trabajando en la remodelación de nuestra pequeña iglesia aquí en Forest Grove, Oregon, descubrimos que el edificio había sido forzado durante la noche.

Nuestros corazones se entristecieron al darnos cuenta de que casi todo había sido robado. Nuestros instrumentos, micrófonos, bocinas, consola de sonido y equipo fueron llevados. Incluso las herramientas que se estaban usando para la remodelación desaparecieron. Nuestra iglesia quedó casi vacía.

Somos una comunidad de fe cristiana. La adoración es el corazón de lo que hacemos, y la pérdida de estos instrumentos y equipos es devastadora. Durante este último año hemos invertido tanto en la remodelación de nuestro templo, hemos sacrificando tiempo, recursos y energía, y ahora enfrentamos este doloroso retroceso.

Es difícil poner en palabras la tristeza que sentimos, pero sabemos que Dios es fiel y que Él obra aún en medio de las pruebas. También sabemos que no estamos solos, y que nuestra comunidad, cercana y lejana, puede querer ayudarnos a levantarnos nuevamente.

Estamos comenzando este GoFundMe para reemplazar lo robado y poder seguir reuniéndonos, adorando y sirviendo como una luz en Forest Grove. Cada donación, sin importar el tamaño, irá directamente a reponer los equipos y herramientas que se llevaron, asegurando que nuestras puertas sigan abiertas para todos los que entren.
