Help Resurface Maloof Skate Park at RFK – A Safe Space for Our Community’s Kids

Our beloved Maloof Skate Park at the RFK Campus has long been a vibrant place where children, teens, families, and the community come together to skate, play, and build friendships. This unique park is more than just concrete — it’s a safe haven for youth, a community hub, and a space full of energy and creativity.

But right now, Maloof Skate Park is in desperate need of help. Years of wear and tear have taken a toll: cracks, rough patches, and uneven surfaces have made it unsafe and less enjoyable for everyone. Without urgent resurfacing, the park risks losing its charm and, more importantly, its ability to keep the community safe during their sesh.

The surrounding RFK site is undergoing a massive redevelopment to transform this historic area into a dynamic neighborhood filled with parks, housing, and more opportunities. Yet, as the big plans take shape, the heart of this community—the Maloof Skate Park—needs immediate attention to keep serving the kids, families, and community who depend on it today.
