Help Restore Lisa’s Studio After Hurricane

Many of my mom's friends have wondered how they can help her out with fixing the studio roof and getting through this time after Hurricane Helene. So, I decided to create a GoFundMe as a way to help too.

The trusses were broken, the metal roofing was crushed, insulation, drywall, and lights will all need to be replaced. She found out that only the house is covered by insurance, none of the barns or studio are included. We have put up tarps to protect further damage to the interior drywall, not knowing when materials can get in and when they can find help to do the work. Mom is hoping to have her workshop on Clay Monoprinting in April. It will be some time before things get back to anything close to normal.

We deeply appreciate your concern, friendships, and support. There are so many other artists in greater need, she is hoping to avoid applying for the artists' relief grants to possibly reduce resources for others.

As a way to give back, she will be sending an illustrative print to those who donate $200 or above. Anyone who donates $500 and above will receive a mini-me sculpture.

Art in return for donations will be subject to her ability to create during this time and whenever power is restored for her to be able to fire.
