Help restore our pocket park and place to relax
Donation protected
Help us kick-start restoration of our community's pocket park and place of rest on the corner of Edge Lane and Lime Road, Stretford.
For years, this green space has served as a small refuge for nature and place of rest for visitors coming-and-going from Stretford Cemetery and Stretford Grammar School. We have a vision to transform this important green space into an even more inclusive environment – for nature and people alike.
Our ambition is to restore and revitalise this space with upgraded seating, a more accessible path, shade for people, habitat for wildlife, a community garden, and a showcase for local grasses and wildflowers.
To acheive this, we need to register as a "Friends of..." group and are hoping to raise £750 to support costs associated with formalising our group and purchasing materials for gardening and maintenance activities. As a small group of volunteers, any little bit helps!
We would be so grateful for your support, and if you would help spread the word about us and what we hope to
