Last weekend, my brother's apartment was flooded from a water leak in the apartment above them which caused them to become homeless. He is in the process of sorting through what is salvageable, which is not much seeing how there was mold damage. He is a single parent, losing time and work, and still having to pay his bills as well as a storage unit now. He has a great support system, but he will need to replace most of his belongings as well as my 3-year-old niece's clothes, toys, and furniture.
