Hi Everyone. I’m Elle Thompson. Proud Jamaican whose heart has been broken by the devastation of hurricane Melissa. Despite being born and raised in Kingston, my second home is Slipe St Elizabeth. With the help of my brother Jodessi we have come together to support the community of Slipe that has given us so much since birth. Hurricane Melissa has left a trail of devastation across our beautiful island. The land we love left unrecognizable. Homes, schools, hospitals and roads have been destroyed leaving many families including our own without shelter, food, electricity or basic necessities. As we may not be able to help everyone in the parish that’s affected, we believe in the power of community and compassion. Our small community Slipe, St Elizabeth that we hold so close to our hearts is in dire need. Help us to aid as many of our family, friends and neighbors. Every donation no matter how small WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE to rebuild, restock and restore hope.
Your donations will provide:
