Help Restore Future Foster Home
Donation protected
My name is Jeremy Wilson. My wife Kayla and I have been trying to have a child for the last eight years to no avail. We talked it over and decided we would like to foster and/or adopt children. We were living in a small house and knew we needed a bigger space.
This year we came along the perfect place. It's big enough to foster at least two children at a time. The house needed a little work but the bank who owned the home the major things we were worried about were ok. Like the roof, electrical, foundation, and the plumbing. So we buy the house.
Come to find out the whole house had been rewired by a local handyman the bank had hired. He messed up the wiring so bad the whole house had to be rewired. We had already spent several thousand on the minor fixes pictured below. We cashed in stock, sold a few valuable items we had, and sold our old house. Over $20,000 later the house is mostly rewired.
This past week we found yet a new problem. It seems the house has a caved in septic tank and a new one had never been installed. When the plumber came to look at putting a new one in all the pipes in the concrete foundation crumbled in his hands. This is where we are now. To fix this problem it will be a minimum of $25,000.
We are asking for anyone's help so we can fulfill the empty spots in our hearts for children who need a family. If you can not help financially we ask that you share this with all of your friends so it may reach someone who can. Thank you all for at least taking the time to read this.
