Help Us Rebuild Doppler Studio & Radio After Devastating Break-In

When I first learned that our venue had been broken into, it felt like I had been chucked into a nightmare.

The burglars went to extreme lengths, scaling a building and risking their lives to reach the third-floor back entrance. Armed with a crowbar, they broke in and forced their way through every locked door.

They took everything—our alcohol stock, DJ equipment, camera gear, the CCTV hard drive, sound system equipment, and even a vacuum cleaner. The estimated total loss is £9,437, not including the damages to the building.

Our priority now is to secure the venue. But even if we manage to replace the stolen items, will they be safe? We must take action to prevent this from ever happening again.

We estimate that proper security measures, including steel shutters, reinforced doors, and an advanced intruder alarm system, will cost between £5,000-£6,000.

In just over a year, we've nurtured and mentored young local promoters, helped organise events, booked touring headline DJs, and showcased local talent through our curated club nights. Our online radio platform has become a vital space for like-minded DJs to connect, collaborate, and create new projects.
