Help Rebuild Belmont, Jamaica After Hurricane Disaster.

On October 26, a catastrophic Category 5 hurricane struck Jamaica, devastating homes and livelihoods across the island. My heart is broken as my family and community in Belmont, Westmoreland have suffered immense loss and houses have been torn apart, roofs blown off, and entire families left without shelter, food, or clean water.

If you’ve ever been to Belmont I’m sure you’ve been acquainted with my dad Donovan Powell aka “Blacks” who is nothing short of a philanthropist for the community. My efforts are majorly gained towards him as contact has yet to be made but I know he’s okay.

From here in Canada, I am doing everything I can to support my dad and extended family, but the destruction is overwhelming. This GoFundMe has been created to help rebuild homes, provide essentials, and offer relief to the families most affected in Belmont. Every dollar will go directly toward materials, food, and immediate necessities for those who have lost everything.
