Help Rescue My Sister From Our Abusive Mother

Donation protected
My mother is terrorizing our family. She won't let us speak to each other. She needs to keep us separated and confused and afraid, so she can keep control. She will do ANYTHING to be right. She will say ANYTHING, and then change her actions and beliefs to make it true. This means total chaos all the time, every day in her house.

I need to get my sister out of there. This fundraiser is to secure a place for us to live, away from my mother's control, and give us a cushion until I can land a steady job.

The pictures are of my caique Mabel, and my sister Allison and me (Ulala and Wakko respectively. This was before I transitioned to male. It's my favorite picture of us.) Today my sister is 24 years old. She is being hidden away from the entire world. She has no known phone number or social media.

Isolation is a tool of abusers. My mother is preventing my sister and stepfather from hearing about any of this. I have tried to contact them nearly every day for three years straight, and my mother intercepts it every time, including paper mail, which would be a felony if my sister and stepfather pressed charges.

My mother will do anything to keep our family separated so we don't know what's going on, including placing her own pets and family in physical danger. This means driving to cities and dumping people there. She did it to pets. She did it to me twice. She has made sure I lost my home five different times. She will do it again.

Six weeks ago, I signed for an apartment in San Antonio with no possessions. I am starting from zero yet again. I need to get my sister out of that hellhole and at the same time encourage my stepfather Rob to leave my mother. He is welcome to stay in my home. However, it's simply taking too long for me to find a steady WFH job taking calls. (I have cerebral palsy and gave up driving for safety reasons.) I only have two weeks left until rent is due. I need to have a stable home for Allison to live in, and Rob too if he chooses. I need to furnish the place - I am writing this from the floor. My parrot Mabel is okay; she has a cage and food and toys. I made sure she was taken care of before anything else when I got here. But now I'm out of money. If I'm evicted, it will subject Mabel to 105-degree weather. I cannot survive it myself. My mother personally witnessed me suffer heatstroke when I was 9, so she absolutely knows this is dangerous. I think she wants me to get killed. I cannot give her that satisfaction.

This fundraiser is so I can ensure Allison has a steady home to come to and decompress. She will be anxious and brainwashed from living in an abusive household. She just needs stability and quiet for a little while. I want to be able to provide. When I nail down a job, I'll be able to, but it's just taking too long.

To make this happen, I need to arrange for travel to my family's home in Portland, Texas, and pay for moving expenses to retrieve the possessions I do have that my mother has stolen from me, including my childhood macaw Mango. Mango is being neglected, left in her cage alone for over a week at a time. My mother has caused three other parrots (conures) to die from neglect. I worry about Mango all the time. Mom won't let me see her even in pictures. I don't know if she's alive.

Your donation will go towards rent so Allison and I have a home away from our mother's control, bills that are overdue, furniture, food, parrot care, and essential medication for cerebral palsy I've been going without. If you cannot pitch in, please repost this somewhere.

We will overcome. All my best,
Charlie

P.S. I used to be Hillary Adams. In 2011, I uploaded a video of my father and mother beating me with a belt for downloading video game music off KaZaA. Four days later I was looking Matt Lauer in the face on the Today Show. I took my mother on TV with me, because she told me she was a victim of my father as well. I believed her. I forgave her. She tricked us all.
