In July of 2026, parts of the Windsor Theatre's original 113-year-old plaster ceiling began to fall. An inspection revealed that more cracks had formed. Due to the potential of more falling plaster, auditorium seating has been limited to only the seats under the balcony.

Movies will continue to be shown, but all live performances and other events that require use of the stage have been suspended until repairs can be made.

The Windsor is a non-profit organization that has been a landmark of the Hampton, Iowa community for over a century. Repairs are estimated to be $105,000. Please donate to help us keep the Windsor fully operational!

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
