Tonight, a close family friend who has been disabled for over a decade and lives on a very limited income suffered significant roof damage when high winds tore off a large portion of his roof. While his home is still livable, the damage has made it extremely inefficient to heat. His only source of heat is a wood stove, and with the roof compromised, keeping the home warm and safe is becoming increasingly difficult as temperatures drop.
