At approximately 12:04 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, one of our baristas made the heartbreaking call to 911 because our quaint little coffee house caught fire.

The Cozy Nook Coffee House has always been so much more than a coffee shop. It's a place where everyone is welcome, a place where friendships have been formed, stories have been shared, laughter has echoed through the room, and tears have been met with hugs and encouragement. We've celebrated life's milestones together and stood beside one another during life's hardest moments. You are more than customers to us—you are family.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to the Hendersonville Fire Department and the Hendersonville Police Department. Their compassion meant more than words can express. They didn't just respond to an emergency; they stood beside us, comforted us, prayed with us, and even hugged my twin sister as she cried. We will never forget their kindness.

To our incredible Cozy Nook family and community, thank you. So many of you rushed to be with us, prayed with us, hugged us, and reminded us that we are not alone. The overwhelming love and support you've shown us today has touched our hearts in ways we can never fully express.

We have poured our hearts, countless hours, and every ounce of hard work into The Cozy Nook Coffee House. Every sacrifice, every challenge, every drop of blood, sweat, and tears has been worth it because of this amazing community. While we are heartbroken, we are not giving up.
