Hi, my name is Ren. I am currently living in a situation where I have been mentally and verbally abused by my grandmother for 8 years. She took me in, promising to help me get on my feet. She has not helped me but rather has been restricting every way possible for me to find help to leave.

I have also been showing signs of diabetes. My grandmother has diabetes, and it runs in the family. I do not have funds to visit a doctor.

I have turned 20 and still haven't gotten a job. I need money to fly back to my home and get my life started. I do not have any other family members close by as I am isolated and live in the middle of nowhere. Everything is 20-30 minutes away from us, and I do not have a car. My grandmother refuses to give me money to go home and keeps telling me to figure it out myself, knowing she fed me false promises. She selfishly has not been putting enough food in the house. Anything helps!
