Opelika's 20 Under 40 class of 2026 is seeking your help in supporting Lee county's youth!

This year, our service project centers on the Lee County Youth Development Center (LCYDC), an essential facility providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in need. We are raising funds to renovate their current recreational space—a vital area that promotes physical health, teamwork and an emotional outlet. This includes:

Essential Fencing: The most urgent need is a secure interior fence. This ensures every child can play freely and safely, providing peace of mind for staff.

Recreational Repairs: We'll be fixing damaged equipment, refreshing surfaces and creating a truly inspiring place for therapeutic play and outdoor activities.

Our class has set a goal to raise $5,000 to complete this spring project and build a better future. With each $1 contributed, you get us closer to that goal and help LCYDC students get the love and support they deserve.
