Help Refurbish Cheam Village Girl Guides Hall. Support the Future of Our Local Girl Guides
Cheam Village Girl Guides Hall has been at the heart of our community for decades, a place where generations of girls have come together to learn, grow, and thrive. From Rainbows to Rangers, this hall has supported the development of confidence, leadership, friendship, and life skills in hundreds of young women.
But now, the hall needs your help.
The building is in urgent need of refurbishment. The toilet facilities, including the disabled-access bathroom, have not been updated in many years and no longer meet modern standards. The hall is also tackling a damp issue that must be resolved before any further work can be done.
We’re aiming to raise £12,000 to complete the following essential improvements:
- Full refurbishment of both toilets (including accessibility upgrades)
- Repairs following damp treatment
- General updates to ensure the hall remains safe, welcoming, and fully usable
Girlguiding in Cheam is run entirely by volunteers who dedicate their time to offering enriching programs for girls aged 4 and up. They are already running local fundraising events, jumble sales, bingo nights, Christmas fairs, but we need wider community support to reach our goal.
Every contribution, big or small, will make a real difference.
How you can help:
- Donate what you can — every pound counts.
- Share this campaign with friends, family, and on social media.
- Support one of our local events.
Thank you for supporting the next generation of Girl Guides.
