Helping Rohingya Refugees

As many of you know me, not only am I an accountant and world traveler but also humanitarian. In January I have the opportunity to travel to Bangladesh for a wedding. While there I felt that its appropriate to donate my time and effort to helping the biggest refugee crisis in the world today - The Rohingya Crisis. For those who dont know, the Rohingya are Muslims that are being killed and forced from their homes in Myanmar to cross into Bangladesh. I am raising money in order to buy sweaters (@$1.50), non perishable food (@$0.70) and medical supplies to give these out at the refugee camps in Bangladesh. I am working with the father of the bride to buy and transport the food to these camps. Specifically, I will visit three camps and donate suppplies:
-  Medical Camp of Dr Mahadi at Tasnimakhola/Burma Para near Relief Distribution Camp #6, Thainkhali, Ukhia
-Ukhia Army Post Camp at Ukhia College
- MOAS Camp at Teknaf

I appreciate any support and help, as you can see even a few dollars will go a long way to help these refugees survive the brutal winter and harsh conditions that they face living in these camps. I appreciate your support.
