Hello, my name is Reece, and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this.

A short time ago, I was prescribed a fluoroquinolone antibiotic (Levaquin). I trusted that medication would help me get better. Instead, it triggered a severe and disabling reaction that has turned my world upside down. This reaction is known as fluoroquinolone toxicity, and unfortunately, many doctors are still unaware of how devastating it can be.

Since taking the medication, I have been living with constant pain and debilitating symptoms. Some of the daily struggles I now face include:

. Muscle twitching and weakness that make it hard to stand for long periods of time

. Blurry vision and eye floaters that affect how I see

Before this, I lived a normal, active life. Now every day feels like a fight just to get through basic activities. I’ve lost much of my independence and ability to work, and it’s been an incredibly isolating and frightening experience.
