Red Beard has faced many challenges over the years, but recently his physical and mental health have declined significantly, and he is now legally blind. Despite these hardships, he remains a beloved member of the community, and Greg and his friends have stepped up to support him in any way they can.

During periods of inclement weather, Greg and three others have pooled their resources to pay for Red Beard to stay at local hotels, ensuring he has a safe place to sleep. They also provide him with food, clothing, and other essentials, doing their best to make sure he is cared for and comfortable.
