Help Recover Stolen Money for my Hardworking Dad

Hey! If you’re reading this, I want to first thank you for even giving me some of your time Asking for help can be hard, but I know my dad will appreciate me doing this.

So here’s what happened, I’ll keep it short.

My parents had to move because rent got too expensive and money has gotten a little tight to say the least.

Anyways, in order to move in anywhere you need a deposit - which my dad ended up borrowing (he never told me this because he doesn’t want me to worry)

My dad being the go getter he is, ended up finding a side hustle over the weekend to come up with the money and pay his friend back on time.

However, when he went to the bank to take out the cash (Zelle still gives him a hard time) - someone saw him, followed him and robbed him. He’s okay thank god, but this definitely could’ve been a lot worse.

When he called me to tell me, his voice cracked and said to me in Spanish

“Man I was so happy about being able to have worked and make up the money so the person who lent it to me wouldn’t have to wait. I literally worked for this money and they took all it.”

My heart shattered immediately because I know how hard he worked to get the money. His regular job doesn’t pay much so it’s not like he has any back up money to just be like, alright I’ll take this to this chin and just stack up again.

I wish I could help him recover the money on my own, but if I’m being real - things are a little tight for me too at the moment. So, this is just me putting my pride to side to hopefully be able to make my dads day after having such a rough one yesterday.

With that being said, if you’d like to help my dad recover the money that was taken

I would soooo appreciate it with all of my heart.

He doesn’t know I’m doing this, but it’s my way of at least trying to help. I know things are tight for a lot of people right now, so thank you in advance for trying to help.
