For over 100 years, Vista Camps has been considered a second home to many children across Texas. Due to the recent floods, many buildings and supplies have been destroyed. Vista Camps has been an invaluable place and experience in my life. It is at Vista Camps I learned how to embrace friendship, leadership, and adventure. I want to make sure generations in the future are able to make lifelong friendships and memories in the magic of the Vista Bubble. Luckily, all campers (including myself) went home a few hours before the floods hit overnight, but many camp directors live there year round and some lost their homes. The funds raised will go directly towards the Hawkins family, who owns the camp to help pay for the expenses of rebuilding. Thank you for helping this magical place continue to provide priceless childhood memories.
