Hurricane Melissa has devastated parts of Jamaica, especially the western parishes of St. James, St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland, and Hanover. The love and support pouring in for our island has been heartwarming and today, we’re humbly asking for that same compassion for our parents.
We’re Rishelle-Ann and Brent, seeking help on behalf of our parents, Audrey and Courtney Watson. While we were safe in our home, they spent the night of the hurricane in their car, because it was raining inside theirs. Our childhood home, the heart of our family, took the full force of the storm.
For years, the Watson home has been a foundation of love, faith, and community, a place where family gathers, neighbors find a warm meal, and everyone feels welcome. But when the hurricane hit, part of the roof collapsed, flooding the home and destroying much of what they built.
They are strong in faith, but this loss has been heavy. We’re simply asking for help to rebuild their home, the place that has always opened its doors to others.
Your donations will go directly toward:
• Replacing the roof and structural repairs
• Cleaning and restoring their flooded home
• Replacing damaged furniture and essentials.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings them one step closer to stability and comfort. Please donate, share, and keep the Watson family in your prayers.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, love, and support.
With gratitude,
Rishelle-Ann & Brent
