Help the Gillioun Family Rebuild After Devastating Home Damage

Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Strangers,

We’re reaching out today with heavy hearts to ask for your support for a family who truly needs a helping hand.

On July 26th, the Gillioun family— My Aunt, Uncle and their 4 children, (6,11,12,16)—experienced a life-altering event when we noticed warped flooring leading to the discovery of a water leak and black mold that had spread through the walls and flooring of the whole house causing catastrophic damage to their home, which they’ve worked so hard to maintain, is now uninhabitable. With no insurance and finances being middle, lower class. it will not cover everything, and the family is now facing overwhelming expenses for housing repairs. My

Aunt works as a beloved high school teacher and Uncle is a contractor—they are hardworking, humble people who always put others first. They’ve never asked for help before, and they still aren't asking right now, they need it more than ever. So I'm asking for them, they have supported me my whole life, faced so many hardships, and just need a helping hand.

We are hoping to raise $5,000 to help them cover:

• Emergency home repairs and restoration

• Food and basic necessities for the kids

• Any unexpected expenses during this difficult time
