Hi, my name is Ryan Kershaw, and I’m currently working toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 44. For my Eagle Scout Service Project, I am leading the effort to replace the aging gazebo at St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Clayton, New Jersey.

The current gazebo has provided a peaceful and welcoming space for parishioners and community members for many years, but it has become worn down and unsafe due to age and weather exposure.

My project will involve:

• Removing the existing gazebo

• Designing and constructing a brand-new, safe, and durable structure

• Improving the surrounding landscaping

This project will not only enhance the beauty of the parish grounds but also provide a renewed space for prayer, reflection, and community gatherings.

I am raising $5000 to help cover the cost of:

• Gazebo kit from Home Depot

• Concrete foundation

• Tools and equipment rental

• Landscaping supplies

Any funds not used will be donated back to the parish.
