On Monday, May 18th, a devastating fire broke out at the Black Sheep Pub, a cherished gathering place for the Philly Manchester United Supporters Club and countless friends and patrons. For years, the pub has been the home base for MUFC Philly matches, where fans have gathered to cheer, celebrate victories, and share the highs and lows of every season together. The energy and camaraderie during match days have made the Black Sheep a true hub for the Manchester United community in Philadelphia.

The news has deeply affected everyone who considers the Black Sheep more than just a pub—it’s a home, a place where birthdays, weddings, graduations, and countless memories have been celebrated over the past 25 years.

The fire has forced the doors to close for what looks like a considerable time. Because the Sheep is a listed building, renovations will be especially costly and complex. The wonderful staff, who have pampered and cared for the community for decades, now face uncertainty as the rebuilding process begins. Owner James and the entire team are in need of support to help them through this challenging period.
