Help Rebuild the Achee' Home

On August 29, 2021, my best friend and her family lost everything they own as a result of Hurricane Ida. The Achee' home was built in 1961 and the Achee' family is the only family to have ever live in it. Joe and Leigh, along with their three children (John, Nico, and Victoria) didn't expect their world to be turned upside down in their home that survived the likes of Hurricane Katrina.

Joe is a personal transport specialist that enjoys sharing his love and knowledge of New Orleans with visitors from around the world that is above the normal Uber experience.

Leigh is a vet of the US Navy and a homemaker and my best friend. She is always there to help a friend and hopefully, this is a way to repay her for everything she has done for my family and for her country.

John is a recent high school graduate who loves playing guitar and is self-taught.

Nico (mildly disabled) is currently a sophomore in high school and loves video games and her pet cat.

Victoria attends school with Nico and LOVES to cook for her family while learning family recipes from her mom.

While this will not cover all the expenses to replace everything, hopefully, it will be a good start. This is a good family and to be honest they would never ask this for themselves. I just hope that I can help them with this. Full transparency, the family will have complete access to the funds through this account.
