My name is Tammy and I am fundraising to help rebuild St Helens Bowls Club. St Helens Bowls Club has been a cornerstone of our community for many years — a place of friendship, connection, and recreation for people of all ages. Sadly, our club has suffered devastating damage due to severe flooding caused by Tropical Cyclone Koji.

The cyclone and resulting floods destroyed our clubhouse and bowling green, leaving the club unable to operate. What was once a welcoming space for members, visitors, and community events has been left unrecognisable. The damage is extensive, and the cost of repairs and rebuilding is far beyond what our small club can manage alone. The green itself is unfortunately not able to be insured as there are no agencies that will insure a bowls green.

We are raising funds to help:

Rebuild and repair the clubhouse

Restore the bowling green

Replace damaged equipment and facilities

Ensure the club can reopen and continue serving the community
