Pencils 4 Kids needs your help to rebuild St. Elizabeth, Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa!
Hurricane Melissa has devastated St. Elizabeth, Jamaica — one of the hardest hit regions on the island and the community we have been supporting. Families have lost their homes, livestock, and belongings, and many are now seeking shelter in the Quickstep Basic School. The need for relief is urgent!
We’re raising funds to bring immediate aid and long-term recovery to this resilient community. One hundred percent of your donations will go directly to help us provide:
Emergency supplies — food, clean water, and essential items for families in crisis
Rebuilding efforts — repairing homes, community spaces, and critical infrastructure
Solar lights and generators — to restore safety and power in areas still without electricity
Support for displaced families — helping them get back on their feet after unimaginable loss
Although Pencils 4 Kids donors and supporters have already given so much to this community over the years, this fundraiser is dedicated solely to hurricane relief and rebuilding efforts following the devastation of Hurricane Melissa.
Thanks to your past support, we were able to construct the Quickstep Primary School and library to be hurricane-resistant. During the storm, these buildings became a safe haven — children and community members sheltered there for survival. Your generosity has already saved lives.
Now, as our friends and partners in St. Elizabeth begin the long road to recovery, we’re asking once again for your help. Every dollar you give goes directly to relief efforts on the ground — helping families rebuild their homes, their livelihoods, and their hope.
Please donate, share, and stand with St. Elizabeth as they recover from Hurricane Melissa.
