My name is Boston Thiriot, and I am working to complete my Eagle Scout project by rebuilding the fishing dock at Pine Valley Reservoir. The existing dock has become unsafe after years of use and no longer provides safe, ADA-accessible access for the community. Since the 2025 fire damaged much of the campground and surrounding recreation areas, I want to provide a gathering place for the community while this area is rebuilt and recovers.

This project will restore safe fishing access, provide ADA accessibility, and create a lasting community resource. I am working in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, who has already contributed to this effort. With volunteer labor from Southern Utah University and Forest Service crews, we are scheduled to build the dock on June 10, 2026. Funds raised here will go directly toward the structural materials needed to make this project possible.
