Hello family, friends and kind strangers.

On Tuesday June 10th around 2:00pm, our aunt and uncle’s home in Alhambra, CA was burglarized by two masked thieves. Our aunt and uncle had almost their entire life savings stolen in less than 30 minutes. Based on security footage, the criminals had been scoping out our aunt and uncle as a target for a while and broke in shortly through the window AC unit after our aunt and uncle both left for work. Unfortunately, they do not have enough evidence for law enforcement to seek justice and the likelihood of recovering their financial losses is low.

Our aunt and uncle are legal immigrants who came to the United States over 20 years ago and have always worked honest blue collar jobs. They live within their means, find joy in simple things, and rarely go on vacation. They are near retirement age but must now continue to work for the unforeseeable future to recoup everything that was stolen.

As their nephew and niece, we are starting this GoFundMe to raise some money to help our aunt and uncle through this difficult time and help rebuild their emergency fund.
