Help My Parents' after losing their home in the fire
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news that my parents lost their home of 26 years in Pacific Palisades to a massive fire.
This home was not just a house—it was the heart of our family, a place filled with memories, laughter, and love (and a dog that might bark a little too much). Over the years, my parents poured everything into building a space that welcomed not only us but also our friends and community. It was a place where we had all grew up and had so many great memories together.
The fire struck suddenly, and my parents were unable to save anything. They lost irreplaceable items like family photos, heirlooms, and personal belongings. Beyond the emotional loss, their home was a cornerstone of their retirement plans, leaving them now needing to reimagine their future.
Anyone who knows my mom knows how hard she has worked throughout her life and how selflessly she has given to others. She and my dad have always been the first to lend a helping hand, and now they need that same kindness and support. While they would never ask for help themselves, I am reaching out on their behalf.
Your generosity—whether it’s a donation, sharing this message, or even simply reading this far—means more than words can express. The outpouring of love and support from those who’ve reached out so far has been a beacon of hope in this incredibly challenging time. Thank you for considering helping my family rebuild their lives. We will forever be grateful and will strive to pay this kindness forward in the years to come.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. We are planning on using these funds to help them get their lives back together after losing the house and all of their personal belongings during the Palisades fire.
Can't thank everyone enough - Sean
