Urgent Relief for my Displaced Family

My name is Yasmeen Arafeh, and I, like many others, have tragically witnessed my family in Gaza suffer through the ongoing genocide at the hands of Israel over the past year+

Our family has been completely devastated by the Israeli occupation. Over 60 of my relatives have been displaced. What was once a close-knit family living near one another is now scattered across Gaza, each struggling to survive on their own.

The occupation has destroyed all their homes and lives as they knew it, leaving them with nowhere to go. They’ve been forced to live in tents and unsafe shelters that are far from suitable, especially for children. Every day, they face fear, uncertainty, and longing for the lives they once had. Our aunt, uncle, and 11 cousins (each married with children of their own) are doing everything they can to shield their kids and themselves from trauma, but the sheer lack of resources and security is overwhelming.

This fundraiser is for the entire family—to help them survive now and rebuild their lives when it’s finally possible. Donations will provide food, shelter, and basic necessities in the short term, and when the time comes, they’ll go toward rebuilding their homes and a sense of safety.

Any amount helps. Even the smallest donation is a lifeline for our family, giving them hope when they need it most.
