Help Rebuild My Family’s Homes After the 6.9 Earthquake in Cebu, Philippines

On 30 September 2025, a powerful 6.9 earthquake struck north of Cebu, Philippines — the deadliest the country has experienced since 2013. My mother’s home, along with several of my relatives’, was severely damaged. What was once a place of warmth, laughter, and family gatherings now stands cracked and unsafe.

My mother has always been the heart of our family — the kind of woman who quietly sacrifices so others don’t have to, who has spent her life providing for her 12 siblings and their families whenever they were in need in the Philippines while raising her own kids as a widow. My mother is the one everyone turns to in times of hardship — and now, she’s the one who needs help. Seeing her and my family now without a safe home has been heartbreaking.

I’ll be honest — asking for help like this is not easy for me. I was raised to be independent, to work hard and figure things out quietly. But this time, the situation is bigger than what I can handle alone. The devastation in their area has left many families struggling, and rebuilding from this disaster feels impossible without support.

I’m humbly reaching out for any help you can give — whether it’s a small donation, sharing this page, or simply keeping them in your thoughts and prayers. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward rebuilding my mother’s home and helping my family get back on their feet.

Your kindness will not only help restore their shelter, but also give them hope — hope that they are not alone, and that even across oceans, compassion still reaches those who need it most.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read this, to care, and to help my family rebuild.
