Dear friends, neighbors, and community supporters,
Mitcham Lane Baptist Church has long stood as a place of peace, prayer, and support for the community. For years, we’ve opened our doors to offer spiritual guidance, run children's and youth programs, provide food and essentials to those in need, and serve as a safe haven for many.
But over the past month, our church has been broken into on five separate occassions, causing heartbreaking damage—both physically and emotionally.
Windows have been smashed. Doors destroyed. Vital Foodbank equipment stolen. Resources meant for the community taken or spoilt to beyond use.
Each incident has been more devastating than the last, and the financial toll is now too great for us to manage alone. We’re reaching out to you—our extended community—to help us recover and rebuild.
Funds will go directly towards:
Replacing stolen equipment and supplies
Repairing broken windows, doors, and internal damage
Upgrading our security to help prevent future break-ins
We are committed to continuing our mission and serving Mitcham Lane with hope and resilience. But we cannot do it without your help.
Every donation—no matter the amount—makes a real difference. And if you can’t donate right now, please consider sharing this page with others who may be able to help.
Let’s show that compassion is stronger than destruction. Let’s restore what’s been taken and come back even stronger!
