On the early morning of March 3, 2026, my sister Sarah’s bookstore, Lioness Books, in Leander, TX, suffered a devastating fire. The fire resulted in a total loss of inventory for the new storefront, leaving Sarah heartbroken and the future grand opening of Lioness Books postponed for an unknown amount of time. This bookstore has always been more than just a business—it’s been a gathering place, a source of inspiration, and a safe haven for book lovers of all ages in our community.

Sarah has poured her heart into Lioness Books, constantly finding ways to support the Leander and greater Austin area. Now, as she faces the challenge of rebuilding, she needs our help more than ever.
