In 1984 my uncle was wrongfully convicted of murder at the age of 17. He spent 40yrs in prison fighting for his freedom. My family spent thousands on lawyers and advocates with no luck for 40yrs. My grandmother died with a broken heart never seeing her son free. My uncle was released in 2024. He got to see his grandkids, nephews and nieces for the first time in 40yrs.
