Hi, my name is Anita Battershell of Anita’s Travel of Jackson, Jackson Tennessee and I have been a travel agent since May 1969. It has been close to 15 years ago I had the privilege of meeting Chris Brown from Lethe, Jamaica on one of my visits to a Sandals resorts..

We quickly became family of the heart and over the last 15 years. I have had the privilege of sending literally hundreds of people out on excursions in Jamaica with Chris.- we have had a destination wedding in the village, we have had church groups that came and partied with the locals in the village ( one church group brought over 31 backpacks of school supplies, candy, and clothes for the children of Lethe) to beach parties of 200+

My son‘s Brandon and Adam and I have been to Jamaica numerous times and through our connection with Chris we have absolutely fallen in love with the people and children of Lethe, Jamaica. They have shown us love , generosity and hospitality beyond measure.

Their village of Lethe was literally destroyed with hurricane Melissa rendering most of the homes unlivable - many do not have roofs, workable roads, or utilities- it is going to take much effort, money and time to rebuild

I am asking all of my amazing clients, friends and family to please donate to help rebuild Lethe if you can - no amount is to small.

If you are one of the privileged folks that booked a tour with Chris over the years you know that his motto is “I pick you up an American and I bring you back a Jamercan” A day with Chris makes you part of his family!!

If you know Chris you KNOW YOU CAN TRUST HIM to use the money to help everyone in the village rebuild their homes, ALL money raised will go directly to the village to rebuild.

Thank you for your generosity, love and continued prayers- so very much appreciated.

Anita, Brandon and Adam
