The journey to establish Imagination Learning Center on our church property has been years in the making. After operating at a temporary school-based site, we were preparing to re-open on our campus in January 2026. The center was not yet open at the church when, tragically, on August 31, a fire destroyed one of the two modular classrooms we planned to use. Our leadership and community are devastated, as this preschool has been part of our ministry vision since 2010. We have worked tirelessly to implement this vision in stages, believing we were finally reaching the final step.
Imagination Learning Center was scheduled to be at home, at Life Changers Global Ministries in South Phoenix, which has been a beacon of hope for families in our community. Our center was licensed for 50 children ages 3-12. Imagination Learning Center was established to provided more than just childcare—we connect families to essential resources, helping to improve the quality of life for the entire community. Our zip code faces significant challenges, including feeding into the school-to-prison pipeline, and our mission has always been to offer a safe, nurturing environment where children and families can thrive.
Right now, we need help to rebuild and continue our mission. Funds raised will go toward cleaning up fire debris, purchasing a replacement modular classroom, securing permits and licenses, and covering architectural and contractor costs. Every donation will help us re-Imagine how we fulfill our mission for changing the lives of our community youth and their families. Your support will make it possible for us to restore hope and opportunity for the children and families who depend on Imagination Learning Center.
