My name is Natalee Blake and I am a Jamaican-Canadian who was born and spent much of my childhood in Westmoreland, Jamaica, before moving to Canada as a teenager.

Today, my heart is heavy as I see the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa in my hometown. Many families including friends and loved ones I grew up with have lost their homes, belongings, and even their loved ones.

I’m organizing this fundraiser to help the communities most affected in Westmoreland rebuild their lives. The funds raised will go directly toward:

Food and clean water for displaced families

Medical supplies and care for those injured or ill

Rebuilding homes and community infrastructure for long-term recovery
