The devastation of Hurricane Helene has taken our Northeast TN childhood home with it, leaving my dad and two brothers with insurmountable damage to deal with before they can even start to see any resemblance of the home it used to be.

The bridge that is their driveway is gone, leaving my brothers' cars stranded on the property. This is also preventing us from being able to relocate any of their belongings while work is done on the house. There’s major electrical work needed.

We’re not sure if this is recoverable at this point, but none of us were financially prepared to cover damages of this extent or to relocate temporarily/permanently.

I’m humbly writing this to ask those unaffected by the storm to graciously assist my family back to some level of normalcy and security.
