Doy was recently detained by ICE and is expected to be deported to Laos. This has been an incredibly painful and heartbreaking experience for our entire family. He is not only my husband, but also a loving father, and our family is devastated by the thought of being separated from him.

We have spent 16 years building a life and raising our family together. Having him suddenly taken away has caused a great deal of emotional stress and has also placed a serious financial strain on our household.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help my husband get back on his feet when he arrives in Laos. The money raised will help with basic needs such as housing, food, transportation, clothing, communication with our family, and other expenses as he tries to adjust and rebuild his life in a country he has been away from for many years.

Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much to my husband, our children, and me. We understand that not everyone may be able to donate, so even sharing our fundraiser would be deeply appreciated.
